I grew up in Boston, Massachusetts, but spent a lot of time hanging around Providence, Rhode Island studying Modern Culture & Media at Brown University.

Last year, I completed a Master's degree in Sociology at the University of Cambridge. I focused on digital media production, consumer creativity, and social networks.

As of September 2011, I am a resident of Manhattan, where I work for a photo-sharing start-up called Piictu.

I am partial to avant-garde cinema (really, I'm that guy), adventure-style video games, and ping pong.

I used to have a cat named after an Egyptian god, but my Mom gave her away when I went to college. I am still bitter.
